Abstract
The rise and fall between the Bordering ports in the modern times had a lot of reasons.Most studies had emphasized particularly on the geographical location,physical conditions,transportation and so on.From the case of the comparison of the development between Yingkou and dalian port,I think the two ports had not the same systems,one was market port,the other was company port.The institution was important factors in the progress of the port's position changes.
