Abstract

With the development of economic globalization,Global international shipping ports are entering the fourth-generation stage of the port.Dalian Port is one important part of the National strategy in costal economic zone in Liaoning province.And it's also an important international shipping port in the Northeast Asia.So we must speed up construction of the Fourth Generation Port in Dalian Port.This paper introduces the meanings and characteristics of the Fourth Generation Port.And it elaborates the strategic significance and measures of constructing Dalian Port to the Fourth Generation Port,combining with the advantages of it.
