A Study on the Poisonous Plant Resources in Shanxi Province of China

Abstract

There are 68 families,154 genera,219 spec ies poisonous plants which belong to pteridophyte 3 families,4 genera,6 species; gymnosperm 4 families,4 genera,5 species;angiosperm 61 families,146 genera,208 s pecies in Shanxi.According to their poisonous elements,they are divided into 7 g roups:(1)nonprotein amino plants 4 species;(2)peptide plants 5 species;(3)alkalo ids plants 92 specis;(4)terpene plants 22 species;(5)glycoside plants 85 species ;(6)phenylic plants 39 species and(7)mineral and simple organic compound plants 12 species.Moreover,the strategies for the protecting,utilzing poisonous plants in Shanxi are discussed.
