Observation of effect of medilac-vita combined with smecta in the treatment of 60 cases of infantile diarrhea

Abstract

Objective To observe the efficacy of medilac-vita(combined live bacillus subtilis and enterococcus faecium granule with multivitamins) combined with smecta(smectite powder) in the treatment of infantile diarrhea.Methods Both the two groups were given fluid replacement and anti-infective treatment.And the treatment group based on it took smecta on a empty stomach three times a day and took medilac-vita mixed with cool boiled water three times a day.The control group were given xiaoer xiexieting to take two times a day.The clinical efficacy of 2 groups were observed.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.0% higher than 68.0% of the control group,and the difference were statistically siginificant(P0.05).Conclusion Treating infantile diarrhea with medilac-vita combined smecta has good efficacy,so it is worth clinical popularizing and application.
