Abstract
Taking an in-line,4-cylinder,and 4-cycle direct injection diesel engine as an example, the crankshaft system 3D model and virtual prototyping are established based on multi-body dynamics and hydrodynamics lubrication theory. The simulation of virtual prototyping model is implemented,so the velocity, acceleration, course and force of joint are obtained.Using the results of simulation, the modal, dynamic and static FEM of crankshaft are carried out,and the strength and dynamic performance are obtained. The result shows that the craft structure meets the mechanical properties.
