Clinical observation of Azithromycin combined with Ceftazidime in the treatment of community acquired pneumonia

Objective: To explore the efficacy of Azithromycin combined with Ceftazidime in the treatment of community acquired pneumonia.Methods: 61 patients with community acquired pneumonia in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups,31 cases of observation group were treated by Azithromycin combined with Ceftazidime,30 cases of control group were treated by and Erythromycin combined with Ceftazidime,the efficacy of two groups were observed.Results: The total effective rate of observation group was 96.8%,significantly higher than 76.7% of control group,there was statistically significant difference between two groups(P0.05);there were no significant adverse reaction between two groups.Conclusion: Azithromycin combined with Ceftazidime in the treatment of community acquired pneumonia has satisfactory curative effect and no significant adverse reaction,it is worth spreading.
