Abstract
Objective:To explore the expressions of vascular endothelial growth factor C(VEGF-C),VEGF receptor-3(VEGFR-3)and matrix metalloproteinase-2(MMP-2)in human cervical carcinoma and their relationship with invasion and metastasis of cervical carcinoma tissues.Methods:Immunohistochemical S-P method was used to detect the expressions of VEGF-C,VEGFR-3 and MMP-2 in 11 cases of normal cervical tissues,19 cases of CIN tissues and 47 cases of cervical carcinoma tissues,the relationship between expressions of VEGF-C,VEGFR-3 and MMP-2 and pathological characteristics was analyzed.Results:The expression levels of VEGF-C,VEGFR-3 and MMP-2 increased gradually from normal cervical tissues,CIN tissues to cervical carcinoma tissues(P0.05);the expression levels of VEGF-C,VEGFR-3 and MMP-2 in pelvic lymph node metastasis group were significantly higher than those in non-pelvic lymph node metastasis group(P0.05);the expression levels of VEGF-C,VEGFR-3 and MMP-2 in cervical invasive depth≥1/2 group were significantly higher than those in cervical invasive depth1/2 group(P0.05).Conclusion:The abnormal expressions of VEGF-C,VEGFR-3 and MMP-2 may play an important role in the occurrence,development,invasion and metastasis of cervical carcinoma,joint detection of the indexes may help to predict invasion and metastasis of cervical carcinoma tissues.
