Breeding report of a new pear cultivar Chuxialǜ

Chuxialǜ,a new early season pear cultivar,was derived from the cross between Xizilǜ and Cuiguan cultivars.The tree is upright and easy to produce flower buds with higher fruit setting rate.The leaf color is bright green.Its fruit is long globose with beautiful light-green skin(no/less russet spot);dots are middle sized.The flesh is white,crisp and juicy,containing soluble solids of about 11% and the fruit core is small.The average fruit weight is about 250 g.It matures in middle July in Hangzhou area,Zhejinag province,with a fruit development period of about 105 d.
