Abstract
Cuilǜ was derived from the cross between cultivars Hangqing and Shinseki made in 1976. It ripens in early-August in Hangzhou area, Zhejinag province. The fruit is round or nearly round in shape with a yellowish green skin. The fruit development period is about 120 days, suitable to be harvested in early August in Hangzhou Area. The average fruit weight is above 200 g but reaching 420 g, containing a soluble solids content of 12%. The fruit flesh is white, crisp, juicy with a few grit cells. The trees are easily form flower buds, having high and stable production. Its self-incompatibility gene type is S3S4.
