Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of atorvastatin in the treatment of primary hyperlipidemia. Methods 150 cases of patients with primary hyperlipidemia in our hospital from January 2012 to January 2013 were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group,75 cases in the observation group were given atorvastatin therapy,75 cases in the control group were given simvastatin, after 3 months of treatment, the clinical efficacy were compared between two groups, and the total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) changes before and after treatment of two groups were evaluated. Results After 3 months of treatment, the effective rate of the observation group was 50.67%, significantly higher than 38.67% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant( P0.05);the total effective rate of the observation group was 88.00%, that of control group was 84.00%, the difference was not significant( P0.05).After treatment,TC,TG,LDL-C of the two groups were all reduced, HDL-C were increased, compared with that before treat-ment, the difference was statistically significant(P0.05);the improvement of each index in the observation group were better than thoses of the control group, the differences were significant( P0.05).Conclusion The effect of atorvastatin in treatment of primary hyperlipidemia is significant, can significantly reduce the TC,TG,LDL-C levels, has no serious adverse reactions, is worthy of clinical application.
