Abstract

Objective To investigate clinical efficacy and safety of moxifloxacin in treatment of lower respiratory tract bacterial infection. Methods 120 patients with lower respiratory tract bacterial infection in our departmentin, were randomly divided into control group and treatment group with 60 cases in each group, the control group was given levofloxacin, the treatment group was given moxifloxacin, observed two groups of clinical efficacy, bacterial efficacy and adverse reaction. Results The total clinical effective, there was no significant difference between the two groups(P0.05);The bacterial clearance rate and drug sensitivity rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group, there was significant difference(P0.05);the mild adverse reactions of two groups were tolerable, there was no significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion There can be effective with moxifloxacin in treatment of lower respiratory tract bacterial infection, can effectively relieve symptoms, there is strong antibacterial activity, safe and effective.
