Smart Antenna Technology in Mobile Communication

Abstract

The smart antenna technology in the modern mobile communication is studied;the concept and development of the smart antenna technology described;and the work principle and basic structure of the smart antenna discussed. The algorithm for beam's optimization and filter and the DOA algorithm for locating and shaping beam used by the smart antenna technology are listed. Furthermore,some adaptive algorithms used frequently in the modern mobile communication are explained. At the same time the application of smart antenna TD-SCDMA and the future development of smart antenna are also given.
