Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of compound Qingjinhuatan Decoction in the treatment of senile community acquired pneumonia with syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing lungs. Methods 60 patients with senile community acquired pneumonia with syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing lungs were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, each group had 30 cases. Two groups of patients were treated with foundation treatmen including anti-infection, phlegm and other treatment. The treatment group was added with compound Qingjinhuatan Decoction in treatment of 10 days. 10 days for a course of treatment. To observe curative effect of comparing two groups of patients, after a course of treatment. Compare two groups of patients with antifebrile time, cough and sputum symptoms disappear time, lung dry and moist rales disappear time. Results 93.4% total effective rate in treatment group and control group 73.3%, the differences in two groups were significantly statistical differences(χ2=4.32,P0.05). The time of fever, cough, sputum symptoms disappear time, lung rales disappear time in treatment group[(2.7±0.3) d,(4.1±0.4) d,(5.0±0.6) d] were faster than the control group [(3.0±0.5) d,(4.4±0.5) d,(5.6±0.7) d], the differences in two groups were significantly statistical differences(t=2.8169, 2.5663, 3.5651, P0.05). Conclusion Compound Qingjinhuatan Decoction in the treatment of senile community acquired pneumonia with syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing lungs has curative effects. In the aspect of antifebrile, improve the symptoms of cough and expectoration have obvious advantages. This is worthy of clinical application.
