Abstract
Objective To observe effect of Tanreqing injection combined with cefuroxime sodium for injection on the treatment of phlegm- heat obstructing lung syndrome in patient with community acquired pneumonia. Methods Sixty patients of phlegm- heat obstructing lung syndrome with community acquired pneumonia were randomly divided into two groups,30 cases of each group. The treatment group was treated with Tanreqing injection combined with cefuroxime sodium for injection; the control group was treated with cefuroxime sodium for injection,10days for a course. The curative effect before and after treatment were evaluated by observing the main traditional Chinese medicine symptoms and signs in two groups. Results There were significant differences between before and after treatment on clinical symptoms and signs including cough, sputum, shortness of breath, fever, nausea, vomiting, thirst, fatigue, loss of appetite, malaise, chest tightness, scanty dark urine, constipation, greasy yellow tongue coating, pulse or slippery, etc. in two groups( P 0. 05). The improvement of cough, expectoration, nausea, vomiting, thirst, constipation, loss of appetite, malaise, tongue and pulse in treatment group was superior to that in control group( P 0. 05). The main TCM symptoms integral after treatment was decreased significantly as compared with that before treatment in two groups( P 0. 01). There was significant differences between two groups on clinical symptoms after treatment( P 0. 01). The total effective rate in treatment group( 93. 33%) was higher than that in control group( 83. 33%,P 0. 05). ConclusionTanreqing injectioncombined with cefuroxime sodium for injection has exact effect on the treatment of phlegm- heat obstructing lung syndrome in patient with community acquired pneumonia.
