Abstract
Objective To evaluate the Cys C levels and mAlb in patients with diabetic nephropathy. Methods The serum levels of Cys C and mAlb 26 neonates with diabetic nephropathy and 20 healthy controls were detected in fixed-time nephelometric immunoassay. The serum Scr and Bun were measured with routine biochemistry assay. Results The serum levels of Cys C and mAlb in diabetic nephropathy were significantly higher than that of healthy group(P0.01).The serum levels of Cys C and mAlb were correlated with Scr and Bun.Conclusion The measurement of Cys C levels and mAlb are helpful in the valuation of glomerular filtration function, which are considered that Cys C levels and mAlb are good serological index for early diagnosis of renal damage.
