Abstract
Objective: To isolate and elucidate the chemical constituents of the plant of Elshotzia rugulosa, and provide evidence for its development. Method: The compounds were separated with silica gel column chromatography and their structures were identified by IR, NMR, and MS spectral analysis and physico chemical property comparion. Result: Eight compounds were isolated and identified as eicosane (Ⅰ), hexatriacontane (Ⅱ), β sitosterol (Ⅲ), stigmasterol (Ⅳ), sorbic acid (Ⅴ), betulinic acid (Ⅵ), 7,4′ dimethoxykaempferol (Ⅶ) and apigenin (Ⅷ). Among them, compoundsⅠ, Ⅱ, Ⅴ, Ⅵ were first found from the genus.
