Abstract
Objective To study the chemical constituents from the leaves of Elsholtzia rugulosa. Methods Compounds were isolated and purified by silica gel column and Sephadex LH-20 chromatography.Their chemical structures were identified by spectral data. Results Twelve compounds were isolated, purified, and identified as:apigenin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (Ⅰ),luteolin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (Ⅱ),acacetin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (Ⅲ),luteolin-7-O-(6″-acetyl)-β-D-glucopyranoside (Ⅳ),benzyl alcohol-β-D-glucopyranoside (Ⅴ),prunasin (Ⅵ),β-sitosterol (Ⅶ),betulinic acid (Ⅷ),corosolic acid (Ⅸ),maslinic acid (Ⅹ),apigenin (Ⅺ) and luteolin (ⅩⅡ).Conclusion Compounds Ⅰ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ,Ⅸ,and Ⅹ are obtained from this plant for the first time.
