Problems and their Countermeasures in the Course of Western Economic Theories for Ideological and Political Education Majors

Abstract

Western Economic Theories is a basic course for Ideological and Political Education majors.However,problems exist in the teaching of this course.The textbooks are not fully targeted at the Ideological and Political Education majors,the teaching mode wants a change for variety,media instruction is not tailored to students’ reality,and their mathematical competence and logic thinking are not adequate.Efforts should be made in the construction of teaching material,enhancement of students’ mathematical knowledge,and innovation of teaching methodology.
