Abstract
[Objective]To compare the clinical effect of glass fiber post and metal post in post core restoration. [Method]379 cases received root canal treatment for residual root and crown of anterior teeth a total of 578 teeth, were randomly divided into 2 groups. The observation group of 190 cases,a total of 292 teeth were treated with glass fiber post and resin core Jaka Reiss Mar recovery. 189 cases in the control group,a total of 286 teeth, were treated with cast metal post and core. The repair effect of these two kinds of method was repaired.. [Result] After 2 years observation, the success rate of glass fiber post group was 96. 7%,and the success rate of the cast metal post and core group was 84. 1%. [Conclusion] The effect of glass fiber post aesthetics is superior to cast metal post in preventing root fracture and gingival coloration. It is worthy of clinical application.
