Development of China's petrochemical industry in a new stage

Based on the development program for petrochemical industry during the Tenth Five Years Plan of China, the demand for synthetic resin and general engineering plastics, the rebuilding and expansion of large-scale ethylene assemblies, the general situation for the construction of larger-scale petrochemical project and chemical industrial gardens were introduced. It was suggested that the petrochemical industry in China should make a quick progress focusing on the increase of ethylene production and the development of polyolefin and polyester, and gradually cultivate the core product and business to strengthen international competitiveness.
