Prospect on the Industrial Development of Basic Petrochemical Material Ethylene

Ethylene is a kind of important basic raw material of petrochemical industry. And it is one of the chemicals of the most output in the world. The development level of ethylene industry as a whole represents the general level of a national petrochemical industry. This paper mainly presents several aspects on ethylene industry which include the global ethylene demand and production capacity, the survey of domestic ethylene facilities, the domestic situation of constructing large-scale ethylene facilities by national joint venture, the difference between the developing level of ethylene industry at home and abroad, and the development trend of ethylene industry in the future.
