Abstract
Objective:To discuss the efficacy and safety of esomeprazole plus levofloxacin and amoxicillin for a week triple therapy to eradicate Helicobacter pylori(HP).Methods:84 patients with H pylori infection accompanted with peptic or chronic gastrits were randomly divided into two groups. The therapy group using esomeprazole (20 mg,2/day) plus levofloxacin (200 mg,2 times/day) amoxicillin (1 000 mg,2 times/day),in the control group using esomeprazole (20 mg,2 times/day)-clarithromycin (250 mg,2 times / day) amoxicillin (1000 mg,2 times / day),the corse oftreatment was 7 days; 4 weeks after the end of the course observation HPeradication rate and adverse reactions. Results:The levofloxacin group of HP eradication rates were 93.69 percent and the control group were 84. 21 percent. There was no significant difference between the two groups (P 0.05).Conclusion:Esomeprazole plus levofloxacin and amoxicillin for one week triple therapy to eradicate HP infection is a ideal therapy.
