Abstract
To develop an HPLC method for the determination of protocatechuic acid in Yanlixiao cap- sules.Method:The HPLC analysis was achieved by using a Symmetry C_(18)column(4.6 mm×250 mm,5 μm)and using water-methanol-glacial acetic acid(80:19:1)as the mobile phase,with flow rate of 1 mL·min~(-1)and de- tection at 260 nm.Result:The linear range of protocatechuic acid was 0.06-0.30 μg(r=0.9995);The average recovery was 99.0%,RSD=2.2%(n=6).Conclusion:The method is simple,rapid and accurate.It can be used for quality evaluation of Yanlixiao capsules.
