Abstract
The Schiff base of propanedioyldihydrazide with two molecular of salicyladehyde and its Cu(Ⅱ), Ni(Ⅱ), Zn(Ⅱ) complexes have been synthesized. The compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, molar conductivity and electronic absorption spectrum. The Schiff base ligand has been further ascertained by 1H NMR and MS. The coordination state and possible structure in the compounds are given.
