Abstract
The novel Shiff base 5,5dimethyl1,3dioxophosphorohydrazonothionate with ovanillin and its Cu(Ⅱ), Ni(Ⅱ), Zn(Ⅱ), Co(Ⅱ) complexes have been synthesized. The compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, molar conductivity and electronic absorption spectrum. The Sciff base ligand has been further ascertained by 1H NMR and MS. The coordination state and possible structure in the compounds are given. The actions on cell surival rate in rice sprouts of the compounds have been determined.
