Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To study the mycoplasma infection and its drug resistance for reference of clinical treatment.METHODS:A susceptibility test was performed for the specimens of 568 mycoplasma infection cases with the use of susceptibility test kit for culture and identification of mycoplasma.RESULTS:The overall detection rate of ureaplasma urealyticum(UU) and mycoplasma hominis(MH) was 43.7% (248/568),and the detection rates of pure UU,pure MH,and UU plus MH (mixed infection) were 64.5% (160/248),10.1% (25/248),and 25.4% (63/248),respectively.The infection rate of males was cower than that of females [35.3%(114/248) vs.54.7% (134/248),P0.05].The resistance rates to different drugs ranked in descending order were as follows:ciprofloxacin(73.8%),ofloxacin(68.5%),and spectinomycin(32.3%);and the sensitivity rates to different drugs ranked in descending order were as follows:doxycycline(88.3%),josamycin(85.5%),roxithromycin(80.2%),clarithromycin(77.4%),and minocycline(75.4%).CONCLUSION:Mycoplasma infection is a leading cause of non-gonococcal urethritis of floating population, and monitoring on mycoplasma drug resistance is of significance for clinical rational choice of antibiotics.
