Abstract
Objective: To observe the influence of early simvastatin treatment on serum lipids and ischemic events in patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS).Method: Sixty patients with ACS were divided into control group(n30) and therapy group(n30) randomizely, and the changes of serum lipeid and the incidence of ischemic events were observed.Result: After treatment of simvastatin, the levels of serum lipids and incidence of ischemic events significantly decreased compared with those of control groups (all p0.05). Before and after treatment, the levels of serum lipids in control group, renal function, Liver function and creatine phosphokinase in both two groups had no change. Conclusion: Early simvastatin treatment could significantly reduce incidence of ischemic events in patients of ACS.
