Analysis on Clinical Efficacy of Levamlodipine Besylate Combined with Atorvastatin on Patients with Hypertension

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of levamlodipine besylate combined with atorvastatin in the treatment of hypertension.Methods One hundred patients with hypertension treated in our hospital from January 2007 to December 2009 were selected and randomly divided into study group and control group with 50 cases in each.The control group received levamlodipine besylate and the observation group received levamlodipine besylate combined with atorvastatin.Blood pressure,lipids,clinical efficacy and the incidences of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events of the two groups were observed.Results After treatment,SBP,DBP of the observation group were significantly decreased and the differences were statistically significant when compared with the control group(P0.05);TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C of the observation group were significantly improved and those of the control group had no significant change,and the differences of the two groups were significant(P0.05);The total effective rate of the observation group was 92.0%(46/50),significantly higher than that of the control group with 76.0%(38/50),and the difference was significant(P0.05);The incidence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events of the observation group was 4.0%(2/50),significantly lower than that of the control group with 16.0%(8/50),and the difference was significant(P0.05).Conclusion The levamlodipine besylate combined with atorvastatin not only has a synergistic antihypertensive effect,but also improve dyslipidemia,reduce cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events,so it is safe and effective in treatment of hypertension and is worthy of further application in clinic.
