Abstract
A new catalytic spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace iron(Ⅲ) has been developed. The method is based on the catalytic effect of iron? on the oxidation of chlorophosphonazo-mA with KIO_4 in the medium of H_2SO_4.The detection limit of this method is 5.72×10~(-8)g/L for iron? and Beer's law is obeyed for iron? in the range of 0-0.5 μg/10 mL.RSDs are 1.9%-2.6% and recoveries range from 98% to 102%.The method has been applied to the determination of trace iron in the water with satisfactory results.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
