Abstract
A catalytic spectrophotometric method is adopted to deterinine amounts of Iron(Ⅲ) on the oxidation fading reaction of 2,4,6-trichloro chlorophosphonazo with KBrO 3 in sulfuric acid .The sensitivity of the method is 3.3 μg/L .Beer law obeyed in the range of concentration of Iron(Ⅲ) from 0 to 6μg/L. The method is applicable to the determination of trace amount of Iron(Ⅲ) of standard sample of rice and active carbon results obtained are satisfacroty.
