Correlation Studies of Mucosal Erosion and HP Infection in Patients with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease

Objective To study the correlation of Gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD) and non-erosive reflux disease(NERD) with HP infection,and explore a new method and idea for the treatment of GERD.Methods Collect 210 patients that diagnosed as GERD our hospital Outpatient service and be in hospital patients in our hospital during January 2009 to January 2011,the one group with HP infection 135 cases,the other group with no HP infection 75 cases.Two groups of patients were performed endoscopic classification and rapid urease test.Results The morbidity proportion of the GERD's is 82% and NERD's is 18% in the group with HP infection.The morbidity proportion of the GERD's is 74% and NERD's is 26% in the group with with no HP infection.The comparisons of two groups have Significant statistical differences(P0.05).Conclusion The morbidity proportion and mucosal erosion of GERD is significant correlation with HP infection in fu yang district.
