Study on Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease with Helicobacter Pylori Infection with Chinese Medicine

Objective:To investigate the relationship among the symptoms,inflammation degree and the distribution with TCM syndrome type in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease and Helicobacter pylori infection,and evaluate Chinese medicine clinical effect on gastroesophageal reflux disease with Helicobacter pylori eradicated.Methods:The study was a retrospective survey and 975 patients with GERD were enrolled.The differences among the synmploms,inflammation degrees and the distribution with TCM syndrome type in GERD patients with and without Hp infection were compared,meanwhile GERD with Hp infection were also divided into two groups:one was Hp eradicated group,the other was non-Hp eradicated group,the efficiency of treatment with TCM was also observd.Results:There were 415 cases of Hp infection,the infection rate was 42.56%;clinical symptoms,esophageal inflammation degree in patients with or without Hp infection had no statistical significance,the incidenit of Barrett esophageal in patients with Hp infection were lower than that in patients with no Hp infection and also had statistical significance.Ganwei Yure syndrome is much more than Zhongxu Qini syndrome in patients with GERD and Hp infection,and also had statistical significance.The patients with GERD and not eradicate Hp heartburn was less than Hp eradicate group,the effective rate of treatment with TCM on the patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease and Hp infection was 98.19%,not eradicate group was 94.44%,between the two groups there was no statistical significance.Conclusion:Gastroesophageal reflux disease with Hp infection has no influence on clinical symptoms,esophageal inflammation degree.Ganwei Yure syndrome is much more than Zhongxu Qini syndrome in patients with GERD and Hp infection.Traditional Chinese medicine can significantly improve clinical symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease,and there was no significant effect on Hp eradication.
