Abstract
A method for detection of quinocetone residues in fishery products was developed by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) method coupled with ultraviolet detection.Samples were extracted by ethyl acetate and purified by n-hexane,and a standard linear response was observed for the quinoacetone levels from 0.02 μg/mL to 1.0 μg/mL with correlation coefficient of 0.9998.Average recoveries of the quinocetone varied from 81.2% to 107.0% and relative standard deviations ranged from 0.13% to 7.7%.The limits of detection were found to be 20 μg/kg.
