Efficacy of valsartan combined amlodipine treatment of essential hypertension

Objective To explore the effect of valsartan amlodipine treatment of essential hypertension.Methods 90 patients with essential hypertension patients used a random number table were randomly divided into valsartan group(A) and amlodipine group(B) and the combination group(valsartan amlodipine treatment)(C group),30 in each group.the clinical effect and safety of drugs were compared in three groups.Results After treatment 4 weeks,the total effective rate of C group was 96.7%,was significantly higher than the group A and group B,the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).The markedly effective rate of Group C was 76.7%,was significantly higher than the group A and group B,but difference was not significant(P 0.05) among the three groups.the incidence of adverse events of Group C was significantly lower than group A and group B,the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05),but the difference of incidence of adverse reactions between the A and B group was not significant(P 0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of valsartan combined amlodipine treatment essential hypertension,no significant adverse reactions,worthy of promotion and application.
