Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of bi-level noninvasive positive pressure ventilation in treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) with type Ⅱ respiratory failure. Methods Totally 120 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) patients with respiratory failure were randomly divided into treatment group and control group each 60 patients,in the control group 60 patients received conventional therapy,60 patients in the treatment group received conventional therapy, while giving the nose(facial) mask bi-level positive airway pressure(BiPAP) ventilation, before and after treatment patients' heart rate,breathing,consciousness,PaCO2,PaO2,pH weve observed. Results After treatment, blood gas analysis, there were significant changes in clinical symptoms, and improve the indicators of the treatment group more than the control group(P0.05).Conclusions The bi-level noninvasive positive pressure ventilation in treatment of COPD with type Ⅱ respiratory failure can be significantly correct carbon dioxide retention and hypoxemia, improve respiratory function and the clinical curative effect.
