Liuwei Anxiao Tablets combined with Deanxit Tablets in the Treatment of Constipation Predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome for 50 Cases

Objective To observe the effect of Liuwei Anxiao tablets combined with deanxit in the treatment of constipation predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS). Methods Selecting 100 cases from Outpatient of Gastroenterology according to the Rome III criteria of IBS-C cases, they were randomly divided into treatment group of 50 cases and control group of 50 cases. The treatment group was given Liuwei Anxiao tablets, 4 tablets each time, 3 times a day, and also took orally Deanxit, one pill each time, 2 times a day. The course of treatment was 4 weeks. The control group was given oral Deanxit, and the usage was the same the treatment group. After treatment of 2weeks and 4 weeks, the curative effect and psychological score of the two groups was evaluated. Results After 2 weeks of treatment, the stool, defecation, abdominal distention, abdominal pain of the two groups and other clinical symptoms, the score of SAS and SDS were sig-nificantly improved compared with those before treatment, and there was significant difference( P 0.05). There was significant difference between the two groups( P 0.05), and the treatment group was superior to the control group. After 4 weeks of treatment, there was no significant difference in clinical symptoms, SDS and SAS scores between the two groups( P 0.05). Conclusion Liuwei Anxiao tablets combined with Deanxit in the treatment IBS-C can quickly and effectively alleviate gastrointestinal symptoms, and improve the anxiety, depression and other psychological and emotional, and is more easily acceptable to patients.
