Abstract
Objective To study the change of C-reactive protein,interleukin-6,Leptin in type 2 diabetic nephropathy. Methods Eighty-nine patients with type 2 diabetes(1999 WHO diagnostic standards) were selected for this study. The patients were divided into three groups according to albumin excretion rate(UAER):32 patients with normal UAER(UAER20μg/min) were I group.29 patients with tractive UAER(UAER20-200μg/min) were Ⅱ group.28 patients with big UAER(UAER200μg/min) were Ⅲ groups. The serum levels of C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),Leptin(LEP) were measured with chemiluminescent immunoassay. Results The serum levels of CRP,IL-6,LEP in Ⅱ group and Ⅲ group were significantly higher than I group(P0.01,P0.05).In Ⅱ group and Ⅲ group, the serum levels of CRP,IL6,LEP were significantly different,Ⅲ group were significantly higher than Ⅱ group,P0.01,P0.05.(Conclusion)The serum levels of CRP,IL-6,LEP increased with urinary albumin in type 2 diabetic patients.Serum levels of CRP,IL-6,LEP in type 2 diabetic patients may be reliable clinical markers for assessing the severity and prognosis of diabetic nephropathy.
