Culture,which can be divided into different levels and categories,is the symbol of a nation and nationality.The Chinese culture,with its diverse sourses,is of great diversity and complexion.Since Shang and Zhou dynasties,Central Plain culture has been gradually spreading outward while absorbing all sorts of cultures around it and then has become the mainstream of China culture.Any culture can hardly gain tremendous development merely with its own internal dynamics.During the process of its development and intensification,China culture is voraciously digesting different cultures with various academic learning booming.The history of the 20th century witnessed Chinese nation rising from self-block and depression to cultural self-consciousness.The cultural self-consciousness of a nation determines the orientation and construction speed and quality of the culture.At present,it's urgent to protect and rescue the heritages of the different cultures of the nationalities in the big family of Chinese nation,to encourage proper culture,to well construct college culture on campus and local culture.
