Abstract
Objective:To investigate the expression of p170 and p53 in breast cancer ,and to explore their relationship and clinical significance. Methods: Immunostaining ( S-P ) was performed for p170 and p53 on 96 specimens of breast cancer. Results: The rate of positive expression of p170 was 65.25% (54/96) , which had no correlation with age, tumor size ,axillas lymph nodes metastasis , pathological grades, pathological classification and expression of ER,PR . The positive expression rate of p53 was 41.67% ( 40/96 ), which had correlation with the historical grades, had no correlation with age , tumor size , axillas lymph nodes metastasis , pathological classification and expression of ER,PR. The expression rate of p170 had positive correlation with p53. Conclusion: The expression rate of p170 had a positive correlation with p53. They were important pathological signs of the breast cancer. These markers play an important role in choosing clinical chemotherapy drugs.
