Clinical therapeutic efficacy and influence of Qushi Huayu decoction on biochemical indexes in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease

[Objective]To investigate the clinical effects of Qushi Huayu decoction on patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).[Methods]Eighty patients with NAFLD from January 2010to December 2012were randomly divided into control group with 44cases and treatment group with 36cases.The control group was given polyene phosphatidylcholine capsules 2pills per time and three times a day,while the treatment group was given Qushi Huayu decoction 1dose per day.Curative effect,liver function,level of blood lipid,symptom score and adverse reaction were recorded after 2months.[Results]Total effectiveness of treatment group(91.7%)was obviously better than control group(72.7%)(P0.05). Compared with before treatment,the levels of ALT,AST,TC and TG in both groups were decreased significantly after treatment(P0.05).Symptom scores of two groups were improved significantly(P 0.05).The amelioration of rib pain and loose stool of the treatment group was better than control group and the difference was statistically significant(P0.05),Rate of adverse reaction in treatment group was similar to the control group.[Conclusion]The treatment of NAFLD with Qushi Huayu decoction has good clinical curative effects and safety.It can reduce blood lipid significantly,and is superior to polyene phosphatidylcholine in improving symptoms,which is worth wide clinical appilication.
