Therapeutic Effects of Huanglian Jiedu Decoction on Patients with Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effects of Huanglian Jiedu Decoction(HJD) on patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) Methods:134 patients with NAFLD were randomly divided into three groups:treatment group(45 cases,intervented by HJD),control group(45 cases,intervented by Essentiale),blank control group(44 cases).Three groups were given routine treatment and glutathione of 1.8 g once a day intravenously,and given treatment in view of lipid abnormality.One course of treatment was thirty days,and lasted for three courses.Analysis on the clinical symptoms,CT value of liver,TG,TC,ALT,and AST changes of each group were carried on after treatment.Results:(1)The clinical effective rate:the research showed the clinical effective rate of treatment group was 95.56%while the control group was 93.33%with no difference.Compared with blank control group,the treatment group and control group had significant differences(P0.01).(2) CT value of liver tissue:after treatment,the CT value of liver tissue in treatment group and control group was increased,and they had significant differences compared with that in blank control group(P0.05).(3) TG,TC:the TG and TC of treatment group and control group were decreased significantly,and there were significant differences among three groups(P0.01).(4) ALT,AST:the ALT and AST of treatment group and control group were significantly decreased compared with those of blank control group(P0.01).Conclusion:HJD has die similar effect on patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease,and shows extensive application prospect.
