Harmony and Development: On the Mode of New Socialist Countryside Based on Regional Features ——A Case Study of New Socialist Countryside Construction on the West Coast of the Taiwan Strait

Harmony and development are two fundamental requirements and guarantees in building new socialist countryside.The Scientific Outlook on Development is the guideline of how to utilize regional features of resources allocation to determine the rational distribution of agriculture and build a development mode for agriculture and related new socialist countryside modes with distinguishing features.In this thesis the Scientific Outlook on Development means acting according to circumstances.In a word,the development of agriculture is the foundation of building new socialist countryside.Only by combining the regional features,transferring rural labor force and enhancing agricultural development can a development mode of harmonious new socialist countryside be constructed.This thesis takes the mode of building new socialist countryside on the west coast of the Taiwan Strait as an example,that is,the construction of agriculture industrial belt which is promoted by agricultural cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan,to illustrate that the development mode of regional features guided by the Scientific Outlook on Development is the only way to build socialist new countryside.
