Abstract

Building a new socialist countryside is a major historic task of China's modernization drive.The five requirements are to achieve developed production,well-off life,civilized customs,clean surroundings and democratic administration.The of is the basis and the primary task for building the new socialist countryside.By development of production we mean improving productivity and increasing farmers' income,which,in turn,depend on the advancement of industrialized management of agriculture.Therefore,in the course of building the new socialist countryside,agricultural industrialization should be taken as the key task.Only through re-adjusting agricultural structure,choosing proper modes for agricultural industrialization and fostering its development,can the building of the new socialist countryside be speeded up.
