Study of Protective Effect of Houtougu Gastrointestinal Health Oral Liquid on Gastric Mucosal Lesion

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the protective effect of Houtougu gastrointestinal health oral liquid on gastric mucosal lesion.Methods The experimental acute gastric mucosal injury in rats was established by intragastric ethanol,and the experimental chronic gastric ulcer in rats was established by injecting acetic acid in the stomach mucosa,orally administered with different dosage samples,measured the area or cubage of mucosal lesion at the end of the experiment.Results In the chronic gastric ulcer model group obvious protective effect was observed in the middle dosage group(P0.05),the high dosage group(P0.05),and the low dosage group(P0.01).But in the acute gastric mucosol injury model group no obvious effect was observed(P0.05).Conclusion Houtougu gastrointestinal health oral liquid has protective effect on chronic gastric ulcer in rats.
