Abstract
Jindan 70,formal named GS05-1, was early maturing, low-stem, densy big ear hybrid maize selected through crossing between female parent Early 48 and self-bred H2172. Years' pilot experimental showed that, the hybrid is of high yielding, stable productivity, wide adaptability and high stress resistance. When cultivated in Xinzhou, it has growth period of 123 d, ≥10 ℃ avaible effective accumulated temperature 2 350 ℃·d and planting density 52 500~60000 plant/hm2. It was passed by Shanxi Farm Crop Variety Assessment Committee in May 2010 with code number of2010006.
