Abstract
The new maize hybrid Jindan 69 was combined of two inbred lines D993 and Tai126-1.The inbred line D993 was used as the female parent and Tai126-1 male.Jindan 69 is an extra-early maturing hybrid. It needs accumulative temperature 2 300 ℃(≥10 ℃) to mature. The hybrid showed high yield at various experiment plots in various areas in 2008-2009.The result showed that it had earliness, very high ability of disease resistance, lodging resistance and high quality. The adaptive planting areas of Jindan 69 was the extra-early areas of Shanxi province where corn sowing in the spring. The plant populations were 60 000~67 500 plant/hm2.The male and female were sowed in the same period when seed was propagated.
