Abstract

Euphemism is a common social language phenomenon.Research shows that Euphemism was extensively used in female languages.Therefore,euphemism plays a strong pragmatic function.This paper discusses the pragmatic principles and application of euphemism from the point view of pragmatics.Euphemism,beloved by the female,lies in its roles in communication that balance the human relationship and help to protect and show oneself.
