Abstract
Euphemism is often used as a form of expression in English, which can be classified into traditional euphemism and stylistic euphemism. English euphemism covers a wide range of fields and reflects more or less the given behavioral standards, common people' s values and moral views, meanwhile undertakes the irreplaceable pragmatic functions .
