Abstract
The seedlings of four melon rootstocks Kangbingwangzi,Qinmi 1,FR-2 and Yガ一ド were grown under two low temperature regime 20 ℃/10 ℃ and 15 ℃/7 ℃(day/night).Seedlings growth and physiological characteristics of the four muskmelon varieties were studied during the low temperature stress. The results showed that after 5 days low temperature stress, growth potential of the seedlings reduced gradually, content of Vc decreased, proline and MDA increased, and the activity of the SOD,POD and CAT increased firstly and then decreased. In addition, the cold tolerance of the four melon rootstocks was Kangbingwangzi Qinmi 1 Yガ一ドFR-2.
