Abstract
The physiological and biochemical indices of cucumber seedlings grafted on 6 rootstock varieties and self-rooted ones were studied under low temperature stress. The results showed that the activities of SOD,POD,CAT,APX and the contents of Pro,soluble sugar and soluble protein in the leaves of cucumber seedlings grafted on Juejinglong rootstocks were higher than those of the others, while the electrotyle leakage and the MDA content were the lowest. So it indicated that the cucumber seedlings grafted on Juejinglong rootstocks had the strongest chilling resistance.
